CELEBRATION OF WOMEN SPRING SEASON APRIL 28, 2007 SAT. 9:00-2:00 p.m.
Once again women are invited to come together to connect and support each other as they move through the seasons of nature and the seasons of their lives. Spring has traditionally been thought of as a time of new life. We can all pray for new life in our spiritual lives as well as in the world around us at this time of year. We will be using song, scripture, listening, and journaling as we examine this spiritual journey we are on. Material will be used from the book, The Circle of Life: The Heart's Journey Through the Season by Joyce Rupp and Macrina Wiederkehr. Lunch will be provided. Cost $25 for the day. SENIOR DAY OF RECOLLECTION MAY 10, 2007 9:30- 2:00p.m. Theme: The Visitation of The Blessed Virgin Mary Presenter: Fr. Vianney Cunningham, TOR.
This is the final Senior Day until we start up again in September. On this day we will have our traditional anointing and blessing for the summer months. We begin with morning prayer and reflection time. Fr. Vianney will present his program on the Blessed Mother. After lunch there will be a short period of time to enjoy the grounds before Mass in Mary, Mother of God Chapel. Suggested donation ($6-10 pp). Theme: Trusting One Another Mother-Daughter Teams: Jackie & Alma Tovar; Collette & Ariel Bessette A time for mothers and daughters (age 12 and up) to examine tradition, relationship, trust and respect while seeing one another as individuals. The focus will be on creating a legacy and exploring what mothers and daughters can learn from each other and pass on.
