In Fall 2003 there was a prayer and discussion of beginning a healing ministry program here at San Pedro Center. After more prayer, it was and has been felt that the Lord is calling San Pedro Center to a Healing Ministry Program. With six lay prayer ministers and Fr. Carl and Fr. Vianney as members of the team, it has been an adventure with the Holy Spirit.

The Lord healed during His lifetime as He heals now. He heals the emotional, physical and spiritual well-being of us all. Based on Hebrews 11:1, "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen," We firmly believe that we are healed through Our Lord's healing and compassionate love. It is by faith, that we know that He is in control of our lives. So, that when we have other concerns regarding relationships, jobs or other situations, we bring them forward knowing that Our Heavenly Father, through Our Lord Jesus Christ, is already working on an answer for us!

We invite you to come and feel His Presence in a unique way. At the service, there is an opportunity to express your need/concern, and then to have prayer with you individually within the context of the service. Then, a time of sharing is available to give thanksgiving and praise to how the Lord has answered the prayer. During the service, the Sacraments of Eucharist and the Anointing of the Sick are also available. This is a wonderful opportunity to see prayer in action! In other words, to see how the Lord works in our every day lives, through our being.

Formation meetings occur on the 2nd and 3rd Thursdays of the month, 6:30 to 8PM in bldg 500.

Healing services with the celebration of Eucharist are held on the 4th Thursdays of the month at 7pm in the Mary, Mother of God Chapel.
