Fr. Joe Nassal is a Missionary of the Precious Blood who has been engaged in retreat, renewal, and reconciliation ministry since 1988. He is the author of eight books including The Conspiracy of Compassion, Rest Stops for the Soul, and Premeditated Mercy. Ordained in 1982, Fr. Joe served in parish, justice and peace, formation, and vocation ministry for his religious community, including 27 years in leadership. He was provincial director of the Kansas City Province from 2011-2019 and is presently vice-provincial of the United States Province. Joe was part of the ministry team that started the Precious Blood Center for Reconciliation on the south side of Chicago in 2002. He now lives in Berkeley, CA where he is part of a team for Sonnino Mission House of Prayer
