FROM ANCIENT RITE OF PASSAGE TO NEW COVENANT: TWO GREAT MEALS OF LIBERATION
Rev. Louis Bouyer has written: “The Mass of the faithful, the Eucharistic banquet, is a transformation of the Israelites’ religious banquets. It is with the ancient rites that we must begin, then, if we are to explain the Mass, the banquet of reconciliation.”
Join Fr. Ben Berinti, C.PP.S. as he leads this experiential day of reflection centered upon the two great meals of liberation: the Passover Seder of the Israelites and the Last Supper of Jesus Christ. Both a “Seder demonstration” and Eucharist will be celebrated as part of the retreat day.
