Join us for "A Journey of Understanding: Nostra Aetate Reflections" Part 3 - A Catholic Approach to Interfaith Conversations and Taize Prayer Service. We will explore how the Catholic Church engages in respectful, meaningful dialogue with people of other faith traditions. Rooted in the vision of the Second Vatican Council, this session will reflect on the principles that guide interfaith conversations, the value of shared human dignity, and practical ways Catholics can build bridges of understanding in a diverse world.
This event is the third in a four-part series designed to help people become more aware of our commonality and bring hope to our communities.
Nostra Aetate, a groundbreaking document written by Pope Paul VI during the Second Vatican Council in 1965, explores the relationship between the Catholic Church and non-Christian religions. It emphasizes the importance of understanding, respect, and dialogue among people of different faiths.
As part of the Jubilee Year, Pilgrims of Hope, this series aims to foster a deeper sense of unity and shared humanity. We invite you to join us in this journey of reflection and prayer.
Come and be part of this inspiring event that seeks to build bridges and promote peace in our communities.
This event is free and a collection will be taken at the event to help cover expenses.
We ask for an RSVP due to capacity limits and so we know how many to prepare for. If you are no longer able to attend, please contact the Programming Office.
