Join us for the Life In The Eucharist weekend at San Pedro, led by Reverend George Dunne, SSS, a Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament priest, and his Life In The Eucharist team. They have been presenting the Life In The Eucharist weekend program for over 15 years throughout the Diocese of Orlando and beyond. Life in the Eucharist is a program of the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament and was introduced to the Diocese of Orlando by Fr. Dunne at St. Stephen Parish in Winter Springs while he was assigned there as Parochial Vicar. The program is designed to assist Catholics in deepening their understanding of the Eucharist.
While participating in the weekend, you will experience a journey of deep reflection on the Eucharistic mystery. We will explore the richness of the Eucharist as Nourishment, Reconciliation, Transformation, Abiding Presence, and Mission through thought-provoking teachings, witness talks, group discussions, quiet prayer time, Eucharistic Adoration, and the celebration of Mass.
In this Jubilee year honoring St. Francis of Assisi, the weekend will be enriched by his spirituality—marked by deep Eucharistic devotion, joyful simplicity, humility, and a profound love for Christ present in the Blessed Sacrament. As St. Francis reminds us, “When we see the bread and wine with our bodily eyes, let us see and firmly believe that it is His most holy Body and Blood, living and true.”
This weekend offers a unique opportunity to encounter Christ in the Eucharist in a deeper and more personal way. Come and allow the Lord to renew your heart, strengthen your faith, and draw you more fully into His abiding presence.
The weekend will include all meals, snacks, and materials. The weekend begins with check-in at 4:30 pm on Friday and ends on Sunday after 12:00 pm Mass. Detailed check-in information will be sent to all registered participants a few days before the weekend. Participants will also receive a schedule at check-in. All guest rooms come with a private bathroom and hotel-style amenities. A commuter registration does not include access to a guest room.
