This retreat is rooted in the Catholic contemplative tradition, inviting participants into a deeper awareness of God’s presence through Scripture, silence, and the sacraments. The weekend includes Mass, Adoration, and the opportunity for Reconciliation, woven together with gentle, guided expressive-arts practices as a form of prayer.
Participants will engage in the contemplative practices of Lectio Divina (praying with Scripture), Visio Divina (praying with sacred images), Audio Divina (prayer with music), and prayer with creation (Lectio Naturae). These practices invite a personal and prayerful response to God’s Word through simple creative expression—no artistic experience needed.
Through this sacred rhythm, participants are invited to both encounter God and express that encounter in a tangible, prayerful way.
All art processes are simple, guided, and focused on prayerful presence and the process rather than “artistic skill.” The weekend’s intention is to deepen and widen the participants' awareness of the action and presence of God in their life through creative expression.
All art materials will be provided.
This is not a silent retreat, but times of quiet will be encouraged.
The retreat will include all meals, as well as Mass, Adoration, and the Sacrament of Reconciliation. It begins with check-in at 4:00 pm on Friday, August 21, and ends on Sunday, August 23 after 11:30 am Mass. Detailed check-in information will be sent to all registered participants a few days before the retreat. Retreat participants will also receive a detailed retreat schedule at check-in.
All guest rooms come with a private bathroom and hotel style amenities.
A commuter registration does not include access to a guest room.

Cancellation Policy: Two weeks before the event, a full refund can be made. If the cancellation is requested within 2 weeks of the event a refund can be given, less the $50 nonrefundable deposit. Please call or email as soon as a cancellation is needed.
