The Feast of Divine Mercy

The Diary of Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska is filled with invitations from our Lord Jesus Christ to celebrate with Him the great Feast of the Divine Mercy. San Pedro Spiritual Development Center therefore invites you to spend time before the Blessed Sacrament and in veneration of the Image of the Merciful Jesus. During Adoration, we will hear a Message of Mercy and at the Hour of Great Mercy (3 o’clock) pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet communally.
Divine Mercy Sunday:
In her diary, St. Faustina says Jesus requested a special feast devoted to his Divine Mercy on the octave day of Easter (the second Sunday of Easter). In his words to St. Faustina, Jesus promised special graces poured out on the whole world. There is also an indulgence for all who will participate in this feast and implore his Divine Mercy.
"Whoever approaches the Fountain of Life on this day will be granted complete forgiveness of sins and punishment." (Diary 300)
