Join us for An Evening With the Word, a prayerful Lenten gathering at San Pedro. During this two-hour experience, we will reflect on the Gospel for the First Sunday of Lent — The Three Temptations of Christ. Using Lectio Divina, we will prayerfully listen to and meditate on this passage and dive deeper with a video reflection by Dr. Brant Pitre of the Augustine Institute.
Pope Leo has recently encouraged all of us to open our hearts to Scripture and to let the Word of God shape our daily lives. In this spirit, we’ll create a space to encounter Christ in the Gospel, deepen our understanding of God’s call during this holy season, and support one another in our faith journey.
